Don Valley Engineering Company Limited called on the services of Kendrick Design to carry out a site survey and prepare design drawings for the installation of one of their screens at a sand and gravel pit in the Midlands. The contract also involved the preparation of detail drawings for the new supporting structure, chutework, access platforms and lifting beam system.

The installation took place over a four day shutdown period and was completed ahead of schedule; all equipment engineered by Kendrick Design was accurately drawn and well thought out.

We also called on Kendrick Design to carry out a site survey, prepare drawings for new conveyor, modifications to an existing conveyor, new chutes, storage bin and vibrating feeder on a contract involving modifications to a Process Plant. Due to the short lead-time on this particular contract we were particularly pleased with the way in which the layout drawings were prepared. Even though pressed for time all the drawings were accurate and the steelwork fitted well.

Lafarge Aggregates required a new Regional Office at our sand and gravel quarry near Lichfield.  It was important to build in compliance with local planning requirements and be in sympathy with the environment and the newly built national Arboretum nearby.

They were able to interpret our requirements and produce plans for local authority approval and working drawings for all our contractors to work from through to completion.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you and your staff for the efficient and courteous manner in which you carried out the survey and production of “as built” drawings for out Distribution Centre.

Due to numerous add ons and changes to the warehouse over the past few years, I have collected a mass of drawings for different areas, but no “overall” drawings.

The drawings you produced of the whole site and each individual level, have been immensely helpful for maintenance and development purposes; and the fact that with CAD and email we can now easily maintain updates and produce copies whenever necessary.
